9月10日（木）クリニック改造工事落成式が行なわれました。海外邦人医療基金の倉林専務、吉村会長、クリニック運営委員会メンバーのご臨席を得て、新装となったクリニックのオープニングを祝いました。出席者に改造後のクリニック内をご案内した後、ボールルームに移ってレセプションを行ないました。

　クリニック改造に当っては今年１月からレイアウトの検討を進め、アーキテクトの藤波さんと幾度となく話し合いを行ないました。かつてのクリニックは目先のニーズに応えながら、施設を継ぎ足して対応してきました。機能的にも見た目にも改善が必要とされ、患者の方々には不便を掛けていました。藤波さんは私共の熱意を受け止め、図面に描いてくださり、そして三井住友建設会社のスタッフの方々の昼夜の努力のお陰で、このように立派なクリニックが実現しました。今回の改造はこうした今までの経験を生かし、普段から思い描いてきた夢のクリニック案を具現化したものです。クリニックスタッフにとって働きやすく、患者さんにとっても明るい、利用しやすい環境になりました。

1階が健診専用になり、2階はコンサルタント室、処置室、事務室などがあり、大きな改良が加えられました。患者の方々がクリニック内をスムーズに移動できるように便利な構造になりました。

 The clinic renovation was completed on 10 Sep (Thu). Japan Overseas Medical Fund Director Mr Kurabayashi, JAS President Mr Yoshimura and clinic management committee members attended the re-opening ceremony. The attendees were taken on a tour at the newly renovated clinic before the reception at the ballroom.

 Many meetings were held with the architect Mr Fujinami to discuss about layout since January this year. The renovation project featured major improvements to cater the needs of the patients. However, we regretted that much inconvenience had been caused during the renovation period.

 The first floor is now solely utilized for medical health check; consultation rooms, treatment room and general office are located on the second floor, bringing greater accessibility and more convenience to the patients in the clinic.
